Coco monkey

Filed under: Japan - karurosu @ 6:26 am

Well, i’ve seen this monkey as picture on T-Shirts in a lot of online shops recently. So, if i did get it right, some guy in Big Brother Japan did wear a T-Shirt with this monkey. So i think it’s becoming quiet popular in Japan right? I really don’t know for sure, so someone know more about that banana junkie?
I already copied that kawaii & funny monkey so i can print it also on a shirt. I like it no matter what anyone thinks. I just need some funny slogen to put on the shirt too. I have to use my brain once in a while..damn that gonna hurt ~~

yippie-ki-yay, motherfucker!

I’m sorry for the rude title, but i just saw the new Bruce Willis movie Die Hard 4 (some can call it Live Free Or Die Hard if they need to). The movie was like… "KAWUUMMM" to say it in Comic-slang. From the start till the very end nonstop action, just like movies were back in the late 90’s, that’s the style i like it. I planed to watch the movie in Tokyo in it’s original language, but i couldn’t resist.

So even if you’r not a Die Hard oder Willis Fan, you shouldn’t miss this one, except those who really don’t like action movies at all. For all the other people i can warmly recommend this movie.

Ready to learn…

Filed under: Japan - karurosu @ 5:22 am

Ok, it’s time to get started. Finally the two books i ordered to learn some japanese arrived today. The first is designed like an anime, also with characters and so on. It’s good for getting things started. The second one is more serious (althoug it has a weird smiling bear on the cover), no comic style. But you learn complete sentences, more or less small talk, which i’m interested in, because, if you buy "normal" Languange books, you’ll learn so many things you really don’t need on a short trip. You know, just like "Excuse me, can you tell me were the next Zoo is?" C’mon, what’s that good for anyway.. so i start slow but nice ^^ (i hope so)

But first of all i have to learn all the Hiraganas and Katakanas…it’s gonna be tough, cause i’m so damn lazy you know. I will try my best, because it really sucks if you can’t say nothing but ohayou or arigato gozaimasu…or well, itadakimasu ^^
So i’m off. Hiraganas, here i coooomeeeee!

Forward GO!!

Filed under: Anime - karurosu @ 3:03 pm

Yesterday i saw the last episode of Gakuen Utopia Manabi Straight! (がくえんゆーとぴあ まなびストレート!)
It was i nice Anime even if nothing special in my opinion. But it sure got kawaii characters in it, that’s why i watched it to the end. The story is about a school in the year 2035, which like others schools struggles to maintain its existence because of the lack of child birth. One day a new student called Manami Amamiya transfers to the scholl and shortly becomes the student council president. In her new position, she starts bringing back life to school. To keep it short, it’s more or less about the friendship between the members of the student council (which of cource are the main characters).

So i had a good time watching these Anime, while waiting for some new episodes of my favorite Shows like Bleach and Kenichi to come out. So if you also have some spare time left, give it a try.

I’m lokking forward to my vacation

Filed under: Japan - karurosu @ 8:12 am

Like i mentioned yesterday, i will be on my way to Japan/Tokyo in a few weeks (25. July). The reason of my vacation (2nd this year!! yes, it’s great to be a student) in Japan is to visit my girlfriend who who is doing an internship at Mitshubishi FUSO that will end 31. July. So i’m flying a few days before to get some otaku stuff and spend money in things i don’t really need…
We plan to do a little Japan Tour and visit some other cities there. I can’t tell you now which cities we are hoping to visit, but i hope to visit Kyoto, Ôsaka and Hiroshima. I also want to see Sapporo and Hokkaidô, but unfortenutely it’s at the opposite dorection and i don’t know if we have enough time (and money) to go there. Well, we will see.

While in Tokyo, we will make a trip of 5 days to South Korea/Seoul. We also will visit Suwon, Daejeon and maybe some other cities. If we make it, we will meet some old exchangestudents who where in Germany for a short time…if we find the adresses of them. I would be nice to have some "insider" there to show us the non-touristic spots in Seoul At the end we will fly back together, so i don’t have to endure the 12 hours from NaritaAirport to Zürich (Switzerland) all alone. Although, the entertainment on board is cool. I hope i haven’t seen all the movies yet. If that haappens..i still have my PSP and my Nintendo DS (which i’m going to buy in Bic Camera, btw. did i mention that i love Bic Camera?…all tha equipment there..it’s like heaven).

Whoop! There it is

Filed under: announcement - karurosu @ 3:59 pm

After some changes in the code and a little redesign of this Theme, here is my first Post.
Actually, i’m not really satisfied with the look and code of my blog, but since i’m no good at coding myself, this must do it for a while. If someone have pity and volunteer to help me out, you’re welcome.

As you already noticed….my english sucks. But hey, i’m sure i’ll get better with time…so just ignore my bad grammar and all.

So what’s this blog about? Well, simply about stuff and things that makes me happy, angry, wild, desperate and some more adjectives…but most of what you will read in the next weeks and months (i hope this will last that long), is always in connection with Japan. No, unfortunately i’m not living there.
But i like Japan. The People, the tradition, simply the diffrence to other countries. It’s hard to explain in words. Maybe im weird, who knows, but that’s me. So i will post about things i’ve seen in Japan (yes, i was there…and in a few weeks im going there again..hell yeah), of course i will post a lot about anime ‘cause i watch a lot these days.

So i hope i can post some entertaining and interesting things for you to read.
I’m looking forward to it. Don’t be shy. You’re free to write comments.
